I started in the Harry Potter fandom in early 2003. Before I'd read any of the books, I'd become hooked on Snape/Hermione stories, particularly Abby's impressive work. However, once I devoured the books and fell head over heels for JKR's incredible creation, Harry James Potter, it wasn't long before I was going down that slippery slope again, this time dragging the Boy Who Lived along with me.

Author's notes: I am not given to crossovers,
but this just struck me as an interesting juxtaposition, for a number
of reasons. This story was begun before the release of Harry Potter
and the Order of the Phoenix, and so the events of that book are not
reflected in it. There is the mention of one OOTP beastie in Chapter
28, because I couldn't resist.
